Convention Highlights

Is this not SO cute. I think I spent hours in the sweet shop just trying to take everything in. There were several display shelves where there were different color combos made up into sweets. Yes, we all just wanted to eat them...but they were made of paper, ribbon, buttons, etc. and we couldn't touch. It was like taking my kids to a candy store and telling them not to touch. I can totally relate to them. Oh how I wanted it all.
Cake anyone?

Halloween cand display. Candy pouches, ribbon rolls, boxes, bags, candy sticks. I know I am going to show more of them later...but since I have not hardly slept in three days and I drove home by myself after convention ended I am a little beat. So stay tuned for more images from Convention 2010.

Host a Workshop in August

It was just announced at my morning meeting today at Stampin' UP Convention that during the month of August hostesses who host a party with sales at $350 or more will receive an additional $25.00. That means as a hostess you will receive $65 in FREE Stampin' Up products in addition to an exclusive hostess set in level one or level two. WOW! Yea, that is what I was saying. Have you been wanting to get together with friends? Want to see some of the new stampin up products and try them out? Like to recieve free stampin' products? Yea, I say lets have a party. Give me a call or e-mail me.

I'm at CONVENTION WAHOO!!!

I am having so much fun here at convention in Salt Lake City. I have met so many new people from all over the United States and Canada. Have been inspired by all the display boards. They had an area were you can go and see all the Stampin' Up colors made into a sweet shop where every thing was made from our very own products. So stinking cute. And you wont believe it I left my cord to down load my pictures at home. :( But thank goodness for good hubbies. He will be coming down Thursday night and bringing it to me so as soon as he gets here, and after I hug and kiss him and the kidos, I will upload some pics.

I still have room in the hostess group please contact me if you would like to join.

Also sorry about all the constant changing. I will be holding the Simply Scrapbook Class on the third Wednesday of each month. I hope this will work out for each of you. Our next class will be on Wednesday, August 18th at 6:30pm. I hope to see you there. I will post the pages next week sometime.

Loving all the new products you have been seeing? Want to get together with some of your friends so you can try some of them out? Call me or send me an e-mail and we can book a date to host a workshop. You can even earn some of these new products for free. There are also all new hostess sets and I am so loving them this year.

Waiting for my Owl

Sorry about the blurry picture. Some of you may recognize this picture. It is in the new catalog. Aren't these little owls sooooo adorable. I just love them. They are made with one punch.
Yep, you read that right this one little punch will punch out all of the pieces that you will need to make this cute little owl.

Here is a card I started for convention swaps and I am just waiting for my little owl to arrive to finish off my card. The flowers I stamped are from the Cheep Talk Stamp set. I am hoping that my box with my new stuff will get here today so that I can finish these to show you. I just love the punches. The new design is wonderful. No more sore fingers you can just sit it on the table and apply pressure. Easy Peasy.
Speaking of convention. I am so super-duper excited to be attending convention this year. Thanks for a good hubby who will be watch my kiddos and a wonderful mother-in-law who is helping so that I can attend. I will be coming back loaded with fabulous ideas and sharing them with my hostess group members on a monthly basis. I do still have a couple of openings in my hostess group if you would like to attend. It really is a lot of fun getting together with each of you each month.
Stay tuned as soon as I have some time to go through all of my retired stuff I will be holding an open house and I will offer my retired sets at a discount.

Fleece Flower Necklace

Isn't this necklace absolutely adorable. My daughter was helping me with somethings we were making for convention and this just came to my mind. You know all the flower necklaces that are so popular right now. We thought we would just make one that was a little more us. (Sorry about how fuzzy the pic is. I must have been shaking with excitement!) :) It ties in the back with some black satin ribbon. The gorgeous little flower is make with.....the circle big shot die using the littlest circle. I know can you believe it?

Big Shot Flower Power

These adorable little flowers are so stinkin' cute I just love them....they are so adorable.
My little girls just love them too. We will be making one of these, probably a smaller version, at our first hostess group on August the 19th. Stay tuned because I will also be teaching a class on them at Timely Chunks Mini Bazaar.
